Angelica

Angelica is from Apiaceae family. Its origin back to northern Russia, Lithuania, and Norway and in even colder regions. It has earthy, slightly sweet, a little bit bitter flavor.

The global market value of this herb was48 billion dollars in 2017. China and United State are the largest producer of this herb. Also Vietnam and India are the top importer of this herb.

The root, seed, and fruit are used to make medicine. Angelica is used for heartburn, intestinal gas (flatulence), loss of appetite (anorexia), arthritis, circulation problems, “runny nose” (respiratory catarrh), nervousness, plague, and trouble sleeping (insomnia). Physicians recommend that consuming of this herb must not be more that 0.5–2 ml, three times daily.

This herb must be kept in dried under vacuum and stored at −80°C. If it be sorted in good condition, it can last for more than 6 months.
