Chervil

Chervil is related to parsley family. The Origin of this herb backs to Black Sea, Caspian Sea and western Asia. It has  mild and subtle, a little like parsley. It can be used on meat, fish, and soups, in salads and as a garnish.

The global market value of this herb is around 3.9 billion dollars. China, Spain and Belgium are the largest producer of this herb. these countries totally exported more than 1.7 billion dollars of this herb in 2021. Also Japan, United State and France are the top importer of this herb. these countries totally imported 43 percent of Chervil in the global market.

Chervil is nutritious, being a good source of vitamin C, carotene, iron and magnesium. Chervil is also a rich source of bioflavonoids, which aid the body in many ways, including vitamin C absorption. It is an aid to sluggish digestion. When brewed as a tea, it can be used as a soothing eyewash.

Physicians recommend that consumption of this herb must not be more than 5 grams and pregnant women not allowed to drink Chervil.

This herb should be kept in refrigerator and if stored in good condition can last for more than 18 months.
